Although Salzburg is a relatively new destination in the congress tourism sector, the city has already achieved international status. The accessibility of the city, its manageable scale, the central location of the modern congress venue and the degree of safety offered by the area have been reasons enough to completely win over a number of event organisers. There are numerous sights and highlights for tourists right on the doorstep of Salzburg Congress centre and the baroque city of Salzburg serves as a backdrop for all kinds of daytime and evening events.
